Royal Pacific Resort opens at Universal

Published: Nov/Dec 2002

The recently opened Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando gives guests a South Pacific experience.

The 1,000-room hotel sits on a 53-acre site adjacent to Universal Orlando’s two theme parks and entertainment complex.

Standard or pool-view rooms are available, as are four types of suites and Royal Club, a room located on the Club Level floor accessible by key only.

Areas and activities for children include the zero-entry Lagoon Pool, with its own sand beach, and The Mariner’s Club, a supervised children’s activity center with nightly programs.

Universal Orlando, with its two distinctive theme parks, offers guests more than 45 rides and attractions. Plus, there’s CityWalk, a lively retail and dining promenade. AAA members save 10 percent on selected in-park dining and souvenirs at Universal Orlando.
