Instant TripTiks available now via AAAs Web site

Before you hit the highway this spring or summer, jump onto the Information Superhighway to map out your directions with AAAs new routing system.
AAAs improved Web site, www.aaa.com, recently unveiled an advanced routing system similar to AAAs renowned paper TripTiks. The paper version is still available free of charge, but the Internet TripTiks are a new option available anytime that you need to make a last-minute trip or want to begin planning a future trip.
The new Internet TripTik offers routings between more than 100,000 U.S. cities, national and state parks, and AAA TourBook starred attractionsmore than 10 billion possible route combinations. After entering an origin and destination, you will receive a color overview map of the entire route, a summary of the mileage and driving time and a narrative description of the route.
In addition, the program creates a series of map strips showing each segment of the route in greater detail, just like the paper TripTiks you receive in AAA offices. AAAs exclusive highway data, including detours, scenic byways and ferry locations are presented, as well.
Then simply print out your Internet TripTik directly from your computer and youre ready to go.
Later this year, the Internet TripTik also will provide address to address (or door to door) travel routings. Until that time, use the RouteMaster program, which also is located within AAAs Web site, www.aaa.com.
