AAA has once again illuminated the most sparkling hotels and restaurants across the country with its Four Diamond Award.
Each year, AAAs full-time professional field representatives conduct unannounced visits and evaluate accommodations and restaurants throughout North America. Those facilities that qualify are assigned an overall rating of one to five diamonds.
A Four Diamond rating is considered outstanding. The winners consistently exceed the associations requirements by providing skilled and attentive service staff, a high level of customer service and top-of-the-line amenities and ambiance. Only an estimated 3 percent of the nearly 27,000 AAA-rated properties and 4 percent of the more than 12,000 AAA-rated restaurants achieve this status.
AAA is proud to salute the following 2001 Four Diamond Award recipients in our area:
- Branson: Chateau on the Lake Resort Hotel & Convention Center.
- Clayton: The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis.
- Kansas City: Hyatt Regency Crown Center; The Fairmont Kansas City at the Plaza.
