AAA has once again illuminated the most sparkling hotels and restaurants across the country with its Four Diamond Award.

Each year, AAA’s full-time professional field representatives conduct unannounced visits and evaluate accommodations and restaurants throughout North America. Those facilities that qualify are assigned an overall rating of one to five diamonds.

A Four Diamond rating is considered outstanding. The winners consistently exceed the association’s requirements by providing skilled and attentive service staff, a high level of customer service and top-of-the-line amenities and ambiance. Only an estimated 3 percent of the nearly 27,000 AAA-rated properties and 4 percent of the more than 12,000 AAA-rated restaurants achieve this status.
